Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

Regrettably it is not possible for us to send wine to the USA and Canada due to import regulations.

Payment

We accept Switch, Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or online.

All products offered are subject to availability and we cannot guarantee availability of the products listed.

Prices may change subsequently due to tax or duty fluctuations or for any other reason.

Any price changes will be notified and confirmed to you via your order confirmation receipt.

Shipping And Handling

Postage and Packaging for UK :

1 bottle: £9.95 - will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery - (this means we have to take it to the Post Office )

For larger orders we use Parcelforce 48
2 to 15 bottles: £9.95

ORDERS OVER £200: FREE DELIVERY

We reserve the right to make alterations to the P&P rates.


Delivery Schedule

Deliveries within the United Kingdom are made by Royal Mail Special Delivery (1 bottle) or by Parcelforce 48 (signed for) for larger orders. Unfortunately Parcelforce do no longer offer a 24-hour service from Orkney. Please note we send orders of more than 1 bottle Monday to Wednesday only using Parcel Force 48.

For delivery time for the rest of the world details will be provided with notification of Postage and Packaging costs prior to your acceptance and dispatch.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is included.


Credit Card Security

The Orkney Wine Company is committed to protecting your security and privacy.

We know that when you shop online, you want to know that your name, address, credit card details and any other information you give us is kept safe and secure, and we promise to do that.

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using military-strength 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. We do not keep your credit card details on our system, they are deleted after payment has been received.

Using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption, the details you enter with an order can only be decoded by the Orkney Wine Company. When you are on a secure part of our site, you will see the "padlock" icon in your browser, which confirms that information you send will be in a secure format

Orkney Wine Company do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.

So that we can e-mail you with details of new products or special On-line Shop offers, we will, if you give us your consent, store your details (name, address and other details) in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Returns Policy

All deliveries are insured, however, breakages must be noted at time of delivery. Please be sure to inspect all packages.

We ONLY accept the return of goods and issue a full refund when:
· goods are faulty or damaged (please notify at time of delivery)
· and/or clearly different from those ordered.

Refunds will be credited back to your account upon our receipt of the goods.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
