Islay Macleod form 'Scottish Review' visited us during her recent summer tour. Click here to see her report, and some pictures of the winery.

Work has finally started on our new shop! The foundations were started last week, see here for photos.

rhubarb stalks This year's rhubarb harvest was brilliant.

Orkney Wine is now available at Castleton Farm Shop, Laurencekirk, Aberdeenshire.

'About Wine' is a new addition to our website with information on sulphites and finings used in wine-making.

After the new Pentland Ferries catamaran was officially named 'Pentalina' she was christened with a bottle of Orkney Wine. The ceremony took place in the Philippines on April 22nd. She was launched on April 25th and will be in service later this summer on the Gill's Bay to St Margaret's Hope route.

2008 will be an exciting year for us, as we will be moving our shop and premises to Lamb Holm, near the Italian Chapel. We are hoping to have the shop, which will be much bigger than our current shop, ready by Christmas. The winery itself will be much bigger too, so we should have plenty of room to try out some new recipes. Watch this space!
